As a Dental Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army, comprehensive dentist Justin Prescott Lewis treats patients with the full range of oral conditions, performing surgery, prosthodontics, and other necessary services for service members and their families. Stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, since 2007, Dr. Lewis has spent the past five years honing his expertise in comprehensive dentistry, along with a specialization in the management of orofacial pain. To this end, Dr. Lewis has taught topics in orofacial pain to Army dental residents, performed comprehensive dentistry on NATO soldiers serving in Afghanistan, and consistently ranks among the top 10 percent of dental officers.
Prior to his commission in the Army Dental Corps, Justin Prescott Lewis earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and volunteered his dental skills to underserved residents of the greater Lexington, Kentucky community. The recipient of an Army Health Professions Scholarship, Dr. Lewis enrolled at the University of Kentucky following graduation from the University of Louisville, during which time he served with distinction as Battalion Commander of the school’s ROTC program, oversaw training for more than 300 students, and earned both the Marshall Award and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
Previously, Justin Prescott Lewis spent two years as an enlisted soldier and counterintelligence agent in the Army, winning a Green to Gold Scholarship, among other key honors. A champion athlete as well, Dr. Lewis holds black belts in two martial arts, commands exceptional skill in downhill skiing, and was formerly ranked 5.0 by the American Tennis Association during his undergraduate career.
